Where We Are Located

Our home water is the mighty Columbia River, which flows through the cities of Castlegar and Trail, British Columbia. The section of river we fish contains dozens of fast moving currents, pockets, and back eddies, which produce world-class Rainbow trout and Walleye year round. The Columbia is a large, fast flowing river, and having an experienced guide is recommended for drifting this system.

We are only...

  • 4 hrs from Fernie, B.C.
  • 2.5 hrs. from Spokane, WA
  • 7 hrs. from Calgary, AB
  • 7 hrs. from Vancouver, B.C.

Where We Fish

Castlegar Area

This area truly represents our home waters. We live in, and guide from the city of Castlegar, British Columbia.

Our usual launch point for our Columbia River Drift packages is just above the city, in Robson, BC. From there, we drift south, past Zuckerberg Island Park and head towards Genelle, BC.

The City of Castlegar offers:

  • The West Kootenay Regional Airport
  • Multiple lodging options
  • Many dining locations
  • Shopping & other recreational activities, including golf and mountain hiking/biking

Genelle Area

The section of the Columbia River near Genelle, BC, provides excellent opportunities for dry flying fishing in the summer months, and incredible wet line fishing in the runs during the spring, fall and winter months.

Genelle also offers a boat launch, making it quick and easy to access the world-class fishing in the surrounding area.

Trail Area

As the Columbia River flows south, it passes through the heart of Trail, BC, and then onto some of the best fast-moving runs and large deep holes this stretch of the river provides. These conditions are ideal for both spring, and fall Rainbow Trout and Walleye fishing.

The City of Trail offers:
